Week 19
So I call this week ¨Here..We..Go!¨
So I finished my training on the 20th of November and I must say, It was hard saying goodbye to Vazquez but I know he is meant to be where he is now! He is an amazing missionary and I plan on visiting Mexico with him after the mission! But Elder Tlatelpa, I don't know where to start. This kid is a baller! He knows the lessons up and down, he can teach any type of person and he has become a great friend already! We have been killing the mission game and having fun doing it and it has been so amazing! I love it so much, we have been giving some mad bulches (Stern talking too) to the less actives and the Investigators are ALL doing our commitments! The members are doing their best to give references and help us keep the work going! I am so grateful to be in San Fran right now! We are finding success in this small area. But to be completely honest, this week has tested my skills as a missionary. I fell in to a small depression on Thursday after P day because I wanted to be home but as I prayed with all my heart and faith, I received comfort. I no longer had the desire to end my mission, all I wanted to do was work. I can testify that God has blessed me so much in my mission as long as I kept my heart in the mission! I wouldn't want to be anywhere else! I am so grateful for my opportunity to serve! This place is truly paradise and the Church is blooming so rapidly here! I love and miss you all! Enjoy Thanksgiving!!!

Week 18
So i call this one ¨Well, that was
interesting!¨ As you know I got a new companion this week. I cried like 3 times in the last 3 days because my trainer finally left and I thought I would be so good without him but I am just to good at making friends and it was so hard saying goodbye to him! We have had some good memories together and he told me when I am done with my mission to go visit Mexico! Haha. But my new companion, Elder Tlaltepa from Puebla Mexico is a work horse! He loves working and super strict with the rules so we will be doing work in our area! I cant wait for the changes in this area! Also, Elder Hudson left this area because he had problems with his comp but that was super hard for me to say goodbye to him! He will kill the game in his new area! But something great happened this last week! Me and Elder Vazquez.... wait for it... Got 2 baptisms. We baptized 2- 9 year year olds ( i know what the heck, 9 year olds) but they are 2- 9 year olds that have been going ot church since they were 2 with aunts and uncles and were so ready to be baptized! They are 2 great boys and will be so strong in the church. Sorry I cant send my proof this week but I promise i will send it as sooon as I can! I love you and miss you all! Sorry this week is so short! Freaking computers in DR are so slow!!

Week 17
My week is called ¨Killin´ The Game¨
Well this week has been pretty good in the mission field. Me and my companion have been doing our best to get like 6 to 8 lessons a day and we have been doing work! I love how hard we have been working. This whole week we have walked like 20 miles and we make sure we have a lesson planned like every 30 mins! This Sunday showed us our success. When I got here, we had like 20 members in church. This last Sunday we had..... are you ready... Around 55 members, less actives and investigators. (Including Elder Grovers Area too) I am so proud of our success here! I am getting a new companion next week and my Papa (or my trainer) will be leaving and I will get my first real companion. I am super excited to have a new comp and I am hoping he loves to work like me! Well that's all for this week! I love and miss you all!

Week 16
Alright, I call this one ¨The Black Sheep: Part two¨
So this week has been regular, but i thought I would share just a cool experience. So me and Elder Hudson had intercambios or campanion exchanges on thursday and we decided it would be a good idea to walk like 45 mins to one of his streets he teaches but hasnt vistied for a while! So we started our walk and we see that this trucks tires were deep in some mud from the night before so I tell Hudson we should go help him. We go see what we can do and he asks us to help unload his truck full of those big blue water jugs like the one that you use at work and he had like 50 in the back of his truck! So we start unloading and we got so dirty! My shoes were covered in mud, my shirt was brown and my pants were soaked. After we got him out of the mud,the guy comes up to us and ASKS us if we could come vistit him some time this next week. after we get his address, a random 60 year old comes and asks us if we can pass by his house as well! Freak, 2 new investigators from 25 minutes of service! It was so cool. So we go out to this street which is literally in the middle of a field of banana trees to a house of a member named Simeon and when we get to his house, he was like ¨You guys came! I prayed last night that you guys would come!!¨ It was freaking insane! We taught a baller lesson then we went and taught a Haitian family who are dying to be members of the church but we have to teach them all the lessons first. After we were done we went past a house to go talk to an investigator and ended up talking to his neighbors and got 2 more investigators!! It was so amazing! Everythings else this week was usual! I love and miss you all!!
