WEEK 28

I call this week ¨19 but look 25¨
Well this week has been a roller coaster. I have been so proud of the progress I have made in the last 6 months and I get better everyday! I love my life here and love what I am doing! It was my birthday this week and all I can say is Mission Birthdays are different than Home Birthdays. They fly by, they don't have family included and they are celebrated with Rice and Eggs. I have really been putting my life in the
Lords hands and he has truly been testing me. I am so grateful for this mission. I will come home with such a great knowledge of who God wants me to be. God truly loves me, I have learned that over the past week so many times over and over again. I am so grateful for this mission even thought it is HARD. I am working and working and I know if I continue, I will find success! thanks for all the birthday wishes! i miss you and love you all!

Week 27

I call this one ¨Just waitin¨
Well here in Cotui, there are 2 types of people. You are one of the two people who live here. You are either a less active member and haven't assisted in YEARS. Or, you are an investigator who doesn't like to pay attention to the white kid who has the last name of a cat. But this week has been so good for me! I have grown so close to my Heavenly Father and have relied on him so much! I have needed him at my side everyday this week but I am seeing miracles in my life through the hard work I put it. And let me just say, I am working HARD!!! I am doing my best to make Cotui a stake instead of just a district and I know I will see that if I keep working hard! I love the mountains here and wake up every morning to some sweet fog outside! I have loved living with Elder Pace, he has kept me sane and its nice to speak English to someone who understands why America is so amazing! I miss and love you all!

Week 26

This week, I call it ¨Stern talking to´s... with love¨
Well I have seriously been senior companion this week. My companion loves teaching, but we waste so much time walking to different appointments on different sides of Cotui. I have been so frustrated with him and the Language. I feel like I will be home in a year and a half without being fluent. Its my biggest fear. I have been so upset this whole week. Then Monday, I decided to talk to God, 1 on 1. I prayed my heart out for quite a bit of time and received some amazing answers. I was told, not to worry about the language. Also, if I have trouble with my comp, talk to him about it, but do it with love. Last night, I did it. I told him I am here to serve the Lord and to change Cotui from a District to a Stake and wont stop till I achieve it. I told him to get ready to work because I am so ready for miracles to happen here. He said he was ready so I think my prayers were answered. I am so excited to see the fruit of our labors in this city and I cant wait to be the best missionary I can be. I love this work so much. I hope all is well back home miss you guys!!

Week 25

Tyson only emailed me for a short time this week and then he disappeared. I asked him and he said he got kidnapped but he escaped. haha Really the power went out so he didnt have much to say. Only that he loves living with Elder Pace and its like a slumber party every night and he is liking his new area and companion.

Week 24

I got transferred! I am splitting a new area. The city is called Cotui (Co-2-ee) and its like near the mountains and there are some sick jungle parts and I love it here already. Its another branch with about 50 members but is a lot more organized than San Fran. My comp is Dominican and his name is Elder Casado. I am living with Elder Pace and his Comp from Peru Elder Ipaneque. Haha Me and Elder Pace were so happy. I haven't stopped laughing since we have been together. I am glad he is living with me.
I SAW ELDER DAY! He is freaking ripped!! I gave him such a big hug but he is a freaking MISSIONARY. He is killing the game!

*He didn't write a weekly email report. We mostly just emailed back and forth. He is happy with his new area so far. He was ready for a change.
