WEEK 54

This week is called ¨Hide yo kids, hide yo wife, we baptizing errbody out here¨ You need to put the title just like that!!
Well this was a very rewarding week! Elder Faalogo and I watched as Maria Pimentel and Yeffery, Yessika, and Yedibel Ferreras enter the waters of baptism! I am super grateful to have had these amazing people placed in my path so I could help them make this amazing covenant with our Heavenly Father. I feel kinda like a loser cause I have yet to baptized a Man over the age of 13 but we have some promising families coming on the way! We have found some great people to teach! But I am so grateful to have helped so many people in this last year! I hope this upcoming year has the same to offer! Today was transfers and I am still her in Torre Alta with my child but I think I will be leaving after this transfer because his training will be done! But I am so grateful to be here and have this great opportunity to serve My Heavenly Father! Gracias por todo el apoyo y las oraciones que me han dado. Estoy muy agradecido por el tiempo que mi Padre Celestial me a permitido servirle en esta misión. Cuídense a todos! I love you and miss you all! Have a great week!

WEEK 53

Haha I am! This week is called "Enough with a nappy, I need a bappy"
Haha this week has been eventful! I feel as if we have sweat  more in this last week then the last 5 months I have been in Puerto Plata! Its freaking hot here! Training has been great, but tiring. I am finding that all the work I am putting in makes me kinda sleepy sometimes! I am doing my best to be the best example for Elder Faalogo and I know I am not perfect but I know he is going to be a great missionary! He has so much fire and love for the work! He has taught me so much! So this Saturday, we have 4 baptisms planned. Maria, after like 6 months of teaching, is finally getting baptized this Saturday! I am so happy about that! Also 2 nieces and 1 nephew of our bishop (Nephew Yeffry 12 years old (already pays tithing and is a super thug), Yedibel 9 years old, Yessika 8 years old. Yeah I know, the 8 year old doesn't count but they are brother and sisters and they are super awesome! I am so proud to be a missionary and for all the changes that I have made for being here! I know that this next year is going to fly by so I am going to make the best of it! I hope everyone has a happy 24th of July and I will be home for the next! Have a great week! I love and miss you all!

WEEK 52

This week is called ¨Wow, can it get any hotter?¨
Well this week has been wonderful, I guess you could say. Our AC went out like 3 days ago and I left the fan that the mission gives to us in the Zone Leaders house so I pretty much died sleeping the last 3 days! My room gets super hot and I dont like opening the window because the mosquitos and the big spiders get in the house! Ha! But I am just living up life in Paradise! We found a sweet ¨DoMerican¨ family (a family whos parents are from here but the kids were raised in the US) I got showed up by a bilingual 3 year old! Ha that was cool! Training is dope! I get tired alot but I just keep working because I know I will be blessed for the work I do here! Also, I got a letter from Claritza and Maritza. Claritza is now the President of the Young Single Adults and Maritza is 2nd Counseler in the Relief Society!!!!!! I was so excited to get that letter! They are super dope! Well I hope all is going well back home! I miss you and love you all!

WEEK 51

This week is called ¨Can we get a bappy on isle Torre Alta?¨
Yeah, so this week we didnt get a bappy. I was upset with that because Judy just needs to get baptized already! She is so prepared! We also put a date with 2 more people for this month so we will see how things work out! This week has flown by but has been super good! I have learned SO MUCH with training! I have seen so many blessings come out of it! We are having quite a bit of success here in Torre Alta. I have done a lot of thinking about the mission this week and I have came to know that this mission really is the school of life! I know what I do here and what I learn, will be what pushes me to become better after the mission! I honestly want to be the best missionary I can be so that God will accept the time I have spent here! I know I have a ton of potential and I know I can reach it, i just have to sacrifice a little! I am so greatful to be here in the mission! I have learned so much and I continue to learn everyday! I love you and miss you all so much! Have a great week!

Week 50

Well this weekly letter is called ¨Gratitud¨
Well this week has been amazing! With the fun training moments I have had to the baptism Saturday! This baptism was probably my 2nd most favorite! Karina is an awesome lady! Something I found out this week: She has been listening to the missionaries for 10 YEARS and hasn't gotten baptized. I am so grateful to be the missionary to have had her baptized and help her enter into the kingdom of God. This Saturday we have the baptism for Judy planned and I am super excited for her! She will be super strong in the church! I honestly love my calling! With only 365 days left, I will be sure to make this year, the best one! We are working super hard here and I am loving training! I know that this Church is true and I am super grateful to be a member of it! I love you all and hope you have a great week and a very 'Murican 4th of July!!!
