I really do love Saturdays and even today made Saturdays even better! Me and E were scheduled to teach at 7:30 am (right after breakfast) and didn't have much time to prepare a lesson. We decided to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ (lesson 3) in PMG. It was very important that we teach this lesson because it honestly is all about how to be saved and the way we are able to live in God's presence. The lesson ended up going quite well but we have a ton to work on! My hunger for knowing the language grows everyday as I face a new sentence or phrase that I am not able to say! It sucks when you're in the middle of a lesson and you have so much to say, you just don't know the words to say! Some days I truly know that I am guided by the Holy Ghost because words and sentences fill my mouth that just come out correct. Other times the Spirit is there, Just without words for me. I really do enjoy teaching our "Investigators" here because it has prepared me a bunch! I still have a ton of improvement! Today, I also thought a lot about my Mission. How lucky am I to be able to say I am teaching the word of God to a whole COUNTRY! I really love my Mission call. Its the best in the whole wide world! I saw Nate Jarvis at lunch today and talked to him for a little bit. He said the days are long and there is so much to learn (everything I said except homesickness). I just told him "wait for Sunday, it will be the best day yet". Something he has over me is that he didn't get false hope from the MTC that he was leaving soon! :(
I cant believe I only have 2 weeks left! I'm so excited! My cool experience for today is that I memorized the First Vision... "ESCUCHALO!" Pretty cool huh!
It took me like 45 mins to get it all down but I'm quite proud of myself! I love and miss you all! Please send letters and emails. Only 15 more days left! :) I love you guys so much!
