I call this week ¨Time went where?¨
Well this transfer FLEW BY. I am half grateful, half sad. If my time continues like that, I will be home in no time. This week was good. I have been slaving away in my area and have found some fruit from my labors. We found 2 families that seem like they could be prepared for baptism... All they need now is to get married. That is the biggest problem here next to the mosquitoes. NOBODY IS MARRIED EXCEPT THE BISHOPRIC. It rough. I have grown so much closer to my Heavenly Father this transfer and have done a lot of praying. MISSIONS ARE HARD. I wish I would have prepared better. But I will learn out in the field because I don't have much of an option! I have really done some thinking in my life too and really was thinking how I want to live my life after my mission and I have made some big decisions! I love my mission so much! This place has taught me so much! I miss you and love you all! Hope you are doing great!!
Elder Garfield
I asked him if they do a lot of service and this was his answer:
we had service last week but people don't accept service here. they get like really embarrassed. But we cleaned a members front yard of weeds and it reminded me of home!
I asked if he gets to go back and see his 2 investigators from San Fran, get baptized and he said:
Things here are getting better. We have 2 families and like 6 other investigators. We are working with Less Actives a ton now. I think I am going this Saturday to see them get baptized.
